Eleda Hats is owned by Adele Morton (formerly Adele Woodrow) and opened in 1991. The store was officially opened by the Lord Mayor of Leeds, Coun. Bill Kilgallon. Adele has trained with Philip Somerville, Bond Street, London, as an apprentice Milliner. She also gained experience during her time at the London College of Fashion and during her two years at the Jacob Kramer College of Fashion in Leeds.

Amongst her many achievements during her career, Adele came runner-up in the Enterprise '92 awards, reached the finals of the She Magazine's National Small Business Award and also the Livewire Business Start Up in 1991. Creating a wide range of hats off the peg and hand made to measure, there is something for everyone. Every hat is made to fit your head perfectly.

Old Hats can be re-created to your taste and trimmed with your own fabrics, to match and complement your outfit. Eleda Hats creates hats for an extensive range of occasions, from Functions, Bridalwear, Model and Speciality such as Racing events, including Ladies' Day at Ascot, Doncaster and York. 

Over the years Adele has created numerous hats for events such as Ascot, Doncaster and York Races, and regularly gets her hats in the National and Local Press from these spectacular occasions.
